60% of his time is "Executive Time". Hardest working president ever? Hardly.

Insider leaks Trump's "Executive Time"-filled private schedules

A White House source has leaked nearly every day of President Trump's private schedule for the past three months.

Why it matters: This unusually voluminous leak gives us unprecedented visibility into how this president spends his days. The schedules, which cover nearly every working day since the midterms, show that Trump has spent around 60% of his scheduled time over the past 3 months in unstructured "Executive Time."
    • But Trump, who often wakes before 6 a.m., is never in the Oval during those hours, according to six sources with direct knowledge.
    • Instead, he spends his mornings in the residence, watching TV, reading the papers, and responding to what he sees and reads by phoning aides, members of Congress, friends, administration officials and informal advisers.

Executive time must be a grind. Good thing Mar-A- Lago and more golf is a mere $6 million dollar flight away.

Because of the shutdown trump had to go 35+ days without playing golf - longest stretch of his presidency. He was probably jonesing hard to spend some of that "Executive Time" playing golf.

You think if you say "TDS" enough times it will somehow make trump's behavior more acceptable?

I think Trump’s only real goal was to win the election. Governing wasn’t anywhere and still isn’t on his radar.

The true derangement syndrome is the small number of people who still think Trump is an incredibly hard working, successful business man perfectly executing his plan to make America Great Again. At this point most of us are just pointing out the obvious, Trump is a lazy oaf, way in over his head, and he's not even inclined to learn on the job like past presidents. The hardest he's worked and most he's enjoyed the job in 2 years was his dang hamburger feast.

Along with leaving him plenty of time to watch Fox News, this Executive Time dodge also leaves him with the unfettered ability to take phone calls and meetings with whoever he wishes with no official record that they happened.

I'm not sure how anyone can look at Trump and conclude he's a hardworking guy. Not that I want him to work at all, let alone hard.

We might need to update the orange paint for the football stadium and other buildings around campus. Der Trumpshter is guzzling up all the orange paint. Investors look for a shortage of said paint.

Zero. The White House has said his healthy orange glow is because of good genes. Seriously. As in they seriously said it, not that anybody with more than 100 functioning brain cells would seriously believe it.

NYT: White House says Trump's tan is the result of ‘good genes

An official line from the White House on President Trump’s complexion is that his skin color is the result of “good genes,” a senior administration official told The New York Times.

The official, who spoke to the Times on the condition of anonymity, added that the president applies a dab of powder to his skin before making appearances on television.

But the official said the powder is translucent and added that it is not a bronzer.

The official’s account runs contrary to past claims made by Trump’s former aide, Omarosa Manigault Newman, made in her tell-all book, “Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House.”
