I know Wednesday was an NCAA mandated off day, but after being totally surprised that Castleton would miss the game against Tennessee, I don't think it is too early to talk about Tre Mann. Is he going to be required to go through any concussion protocol prior to the Georgia game Saturday afternoon? As for other injuries, I get the impression that Castleton will be back Saturday. It wasn't mentioned last night, but was he seen hobbling around or wearing a boot last night? Regarding Lewis, I know he played with Klatsky in high school and some saw them coming as something of a package deal. I thought they were both on the same medical protocol, so I was somewhat surprised to see Klatsky not only on the bench, but play, while Lewis was out. I am assuming that Lewis will be ready to go Saturday.
Am I wrong in assuming that Lewis has covid? Otherwise he would have returned when Klatsky did, wouldn’t he?
Due to medical privacy issues, I didn't think they are officially saying anyone had covid just they were out due to health protocols or whatever.
I didn't see a boot on CC. Maybe a small ankle brace at best. He was only scratched right before the game, so I'm with you: expect to see him this weekend. With Lewis, I just assume the COVID timetable is different for everyone, especially if there are symptoms with one and not with the other.
Just speculation on my part that Lewis and Klatsky are roommates and that even with negative tests they would need to quarantine for the same amount of time.
I would imagine every player with Covid is going to be thoroughly tested for heart inflammation before being cleared to return.
Castleton and Lewis are game day decisions for tomorrow. Castleton got in his first practice today and they're waiting to see how the ankle responds.
