Always nice to see them catch some of these crooks. Of course, there are many, many, more either in operation or trying to get in the game.

Europol announced today that Polish and Swiss law enforcement authorities dismantled the 'InfinityBlack' hacker group after arresting five of its members in Poland last week.

This cybercrime gang was involved in distributing hundreds of millions of stolen user credentials in the form of collections of hundreds of millions of credentials (1, 2, 3) via the Infinity Black marketplace, in creating and distributing malware and hacking tools, as well as fraud.

The Polish National Police (Policja) also seized the hackers' electronic equipment, external hard drives, and multiple hardware cryptocurrency wallets, worth around €100 000.

As part of this operation, the law enforcement authorities supported by Eurojust and Europol also took down two online platforms distributing stolen credential databases containing over 170 million entries.
