    - Corey Bender's post highlights Florida Gators head coach Jon Sumrall's Friday visit to 4-star EDGE Frederick Ards, a top 2027 recruit from Orlando's Jones High School, as part of aggressive in-state recruiting.

    - Ards, ranked No. 7 nationally among edges by On3, recently impressed during a Junior Day visit to Gainesville and now plans a return trip, indicating growing interest from both sides.

    Yep. Having all these guys interested is nice but if we don’t step up with the big bucks they ain’t coming here just for Phil. We needed someone like him 10-15 years ago. Or even 5 years ago.

    I realize miami has a solid roster overall. I did not watch their games but imagine during the season they had some other skill players or TEs making plays. miami has a really good OL and that gave them what they needed when their offense was limited to Fletcher and Toney. I would like to know what they spend and if we are in that range. It would be nice if half our OL roster were four stars the staff evaluated that high.

    agreed and it sucks because i’m thinking id we get him, we’ll have to renegotiate his deal after his freshman year no matter if he plays or not. Hate the portal lol
