On the road. LSU has similar or better athletes with more experience (especially their WRs vds our DBs) LSU has a more experienced and better coaching staff. I don't see it happening, but I'll watch anyway.
Even though he assembled one of the greatest offensive teams in college football history, that dude was not a great coach, but always generated some great college football stories. What a character!
Just saying the name Nussmeyer in relation to any offense is enough to ruin the LSU offense...Gators will hold LSU below 14 as the ghost of Doug Nussmeyer sinks their scoring.
As best I understand from Napier's weekly comments, he and the other UF coaches are going to try to start coaching better although there's no timeline for it.
It will depend if our defense is at full strength on whether or not, we have a chance against either quarterback. If it is the back up, the gators have history of making backup quarterbacks look all world. We also lost to a Utah team on the road that played their second and third team quarterbacks. If we were to win this game, it will be because we played 4 quarters of our best football in all 3 phases. We haven’t been able to do this in any of our wins or certainly the losses. In my opinion, the more our team can play together, the more reps, the more this will happen. Why does GA and Bama look like they do in all phases, continuity with great players. We have some good players, some great looking players, with 1 1/2 years of continuity. Some on the board don’t want to hear this but most know the continuity of the system and process won’t happen till year 3 (9+ wins) and Napes 4th year we will actually look like we belong and beat the teams we have always beat and supposed to beat. 4th year = SEC East run. 5th year will be the high expectation year. Doesn’t mean we won’t/shouldn’t see progress along the way, just need to remember he is building a program not a Larrry Coker or Gene Chizik one and done team.
The absence of Daniels would make it go from a ridiculously terrible matchup to a really bad matchup. Away. At night. Against a good team that has our number. UF is dysfunctional (defense and special teams) in 2 of the 3 areas and can't play perfect enough on offense to make up for that and mind-numbingly bad time management by coaches. Yes Bama shut them down. We aren't rolling out Bama's players and coaches on Saturday.
We should always be more afraid of the horrible backup than superstar starter...how many times have you seen that horrible backup have his one game career against us?
