I was informed last night by a Trump-diseased cousin of mine that the U.S. death figures are faked, it's all political, it's Democrats out to destroy this country. So I guess that's true of death figures all over the world. The whole world is in on American Democrat lying.

On this day of thanksgiving you’re probably glad you get to insult people with different opinions while hiding behind a keyboard.

"Come out from behind that keyboard and fight! The virus? Don't worry about it, it's no worse than the flu and will just disappear. Now tell me to wear a mask. I double-dog dare you."

Ehhh . . . I just think people should be accountable for the things they communicate publicly, esp. when it's an irresponsible opinion. Happy Thanksgiving

It is mandatory in Jacksonville. Mayor Curry just extended it.

Total nonsense. I’ve been to 2 area Pensacola Publix on a regular basis since covid started. A very very small minority don’t wear masks. Especially recently. Maybe a couple in the entire store on a bad day. I’m skeptical of how many other threads are totally fabricated events.

Remember when everybody mocked President Trump for claiming Biden will cancel Christmas? This is how it would happen. Biden will no doubt be coordinating more and more with governors across the country. And based on your post, I would say Vermont has essentially canceled Thanksgiving. Wouldn't you agree? As Biden's transition to power comes into full swing, he will no doubt be coordinating with governors on things he'd like to see done before January 20th.

The mask wearing Gestapo are simply using it as a control mechanism.

Who really has time on Thanksgiving to go bring back a bunch of quotes made by various posters weeks/months ago? Tells us a lot.

It's not enforced. I'd say at least 90 percent of the people I see in stores are masked. Some stores it's 100. But there are still people out there unmasked.

It’s eye opening. OP loves to start a good complaining thread. Maybe he’s running out of material since Biden won the election. I won’t believe anything he posts again.

South Korea a country where the population is controlled by its version of the Gestapo
    Coronavirus Cases:
    32,318
    Deaths:
    515
South Korea Coronavirus: 32,318 Cases and 515 Deaths - Worldometer

The US a country in which millions of Americans exercise their freedom not to where masks
    Coronavirus Cases:
    13,153,059
    Deaths:
    268,468
United States Coronavirus: 13,153,279 Cases and 268,468 Deaths - Worldometer

For a comparison between the US and South Korea multiply the Korean numbers by 6.4 to adjust for the population difference. Both countries experienced their first cases at the same time.

Most of them are wearing a mask begrudgingly. The country, as a whole, especially those with means, are over the panic surrounding this virus. I read last night they are expecting 7,000,000 people to fly back to their various homes on Sunday. Air travel is at an all-time high this weekend since March. Have you been to an airport lately? Social distancing isn't practiced. You're in an airtight tube with 100 other people for two hours. Not to mention the wait in the jetway to board the plane, where you're no doubt shoulder to shoulder with dozens of people in a very tight enclosed space for several minutes.

You think 10 percent of shoppers at Publix are going to be a difference maker? A lot of people have made the decision that they're not going to let the pandemic control their lives. Precautions, sure. Mandatory precautions, which in many instances are arbitrary restrictions at best, are being ignored by a lot of people. Whether you want to admit it or not, a lot of it started with the racial protesting back in the summer. Once people saw how callous government leaders and the media were to the implied risk of having those, a lot of people just said screw it. Can't blame them.

Again, we're on a forum here with a lot of educated people. Masks do not stop this virus. They may provide some minor mitigation benefits. But if people treat masks like they are a bulletproof vest, like they did with the protests, the virus is still going to spread when it finds new hosts within inches of an infected person - mask or no mask. The CDC data prove this.
