Yup, just like what happened to Ashli Babbitt was her own fault for not following police orders. You’re finally getting it.

    They were mostly peaceful protests.

Regardless of what precipitated the beatdown, people are responsible for their actions. Those who punched, kicked, body slammed, etc. should be held accountable. If the slapper deserves punishment for slapping, then so be it. Nobody, however, should make an insinuation that he got what he deserved or that the following actions were justified.

Man, the insistence on taking a stand based purely on politics is luda.

If you can walk away but instead slap a dude and him and his buddies beat you down, that’s neither new nor shocking. “Asking for it”? Eh, call it what you want. But the gasping is silly.

And if a whole bunch of dudes join in the frenzy, including KO’ing a lady who was tangentially involved (maybe), now that side has officially gone too far also. “Asking for it”? Eh, call it what you want but stop with the excuses. Lawyer up. I suggest prepping for a not insignificant jail vacay.

I hope they all go to jail and no one gets a dime from all the inevitable dueling lawsuits.

I'm not seeing this. Ideology, perhaps but I'm pretty much a bleeding heart libbie and say that the violent offenses here need to be punished swiftly and severely.

OK. Me too. I’m all for everyone involved getting the swift and severe. Just because someone gets on the wrong side of FAFO doesn’t absolve them.

But the thread is full of perp/victim. Looks like a whole lotta perp to me.

That said a conservative poster is getting jumped on by others on the right for saying that the victim struck first which is pretty clear on the video.

Hell I defended a poster on the right I’ve NEVER agreed with, it’s been a strange thread for sure

I agree with this mostly but also think the guy with the original slap got himself (and his friends) into a situation he could and should have avoided. Many of us have been there, you’re out with a group and someone cuts you off or says something foul and you’re not in a place YOU know amongst people you know and you have to be present enough to know that it ain’t worth it.

I think it’s fine to acknowledge that AND acknowledge the mob went WAY too damn far and should be prosecuted accordingly

Agreed. That poster pointed out how it actually jumped off. That’s just being honest.

Again, I am 100% on every antagonist going to FU jail. But that includes the bully who couldn’t back it up. No love for that scumbag either.

The lady is the only one I see a sympathetic angle for. Even if she was also involved with the initial mouthiness, she wasn’t an actual combatant. That dude took his shot at being a menace, and I hope he wins his prize.

So what part do you disagree with? I agree with this alpha to omega. What did I say differently?
