    I don’t know about homering....Jessie has commercials. He’s not hurting for money.

    ??????

    I mean, returning H-man Trophy winner and QB for defending champs, who had been embroiled in controversy all the previous year. Not sure how any other CFB player could have had a higher profile at that time.

    Seems like a weird ax to grind. Was he, as CFB pundit for a major network, supposed to pretend JW didn't exist? I could see if he praised him for being 'high character', 'a great role model', or 'cut from the same mold as Tebow' where you'd get riled, but pretty generic statement for one to grudge over half (especially toward a former Gator) a decade later.

    It’s always cracks me up to see man children get pissy because they feel slighted by a broadcaster or journalist.
    You clearly couldn’t care less.

    @tilly I saw Frazier play and he was great, but I also seen Tebow play.

    Oh well, if Jesse doesn't want to appear to be a homer or whatever that fine I guess, it's just come on that would be one time it would appear he wasn't a homer.

    Jesse seems to be pretty pro-Gator on Twitter et al. Sounds like he was just trying to be impartial since it was obvious that one of them would choose Timmy.

    FWIW, Tommie Frazier was an amazing QB... but my Nebraska family members despise him as a person. He’s evidently quite the piece of $#!+ as a human being. His brief stint as a small college head coach was a disaster, and his players hated him. Timmy is by far the better person.

    College Football: From 1-99, the Best College Player to Wear Every Jersey Number

    I agree with you regarding Tebow being the greatest number 15 in college football, but the attached makes a case for Tommie Frazier as the best number 15

    Maybe being a bit too sensitive. I'm sure they rehearsed beforehand. They left Tebow last because he's the obvious choice.

    I do put some emphasis on character... and who knows if all of Nebraska's players were taking PEDs or not. Not saying he did, but I suspect some on that team did in fact take PEDs and got away with it. Remember, the Heisman is more team award than some people might think it is. But for me, just as much as the physical aspect of the game, character matters.

    He visited the team for two or three years. In the late '90's, I believe.

    Jesse Palmer was a good college QB;

    Tommie Frazier was a great college QB;

    Tim Tebow was the greatest college QB.

    Jessie: Player of the Game UF vs UT 2000. He gets a pass and Jabar gets the “catch”.
