    Sure is, the current record was wilma at 882, which beat out Gilbert in 1988 at like 889 if I recall correctly.

    Had to deal with a Hurricane Erin in 95 in Pensacola. A couple of weeks later another direct hit...Opal.

    There have only been 11 Cat 5 hurricanes in the past 10 years compared to 80 hurricanes in the same time frame.
