Was just on Fernandina Beach as the storm passed; fart in the wind... the ocean was a little angry, but the rain only lasted about 45 seconds.

A hurricane in Wilmington means we finally have some normalcy to 2020.

The joke here is that this wont be too bad because it is not an old person's name. The worst ones since I moved here have been Bertha,Fran, Floyd and Florence. The Dorian's and Matthew's are never that bad. :D.
Jim Cantore has mede his annual pilgrimage to Wrightsville Beach. So as usual we are ground zero again. #2020 keeps getting better and better.

Stupid thing....yet another big mess to clean up.:cool:
Actually did more damage than many of us thought around the city. Likely due to some small twisters and microbursts.
All in all it was a baby storm though.

We dodged a bullet here but we have a couple weeks and then some ahead until November. I'm stocked but I may have to make a beer run or two before we are out of the woods.
