The southeastern quadrant isn't showing up yet on radar (south of the Bahamas). It is not big, but fills out that bottom corner with outflow and the reconnaissance plane found some of the strongest winds there. It's out of view on your radar but there on the cloud satellite view. You can see the bottom outflow on radar over Cuba.

And they forecasted today that it would get dry air wrapped up in it from the west. That is happening now and is what will inhibit further development.

Was sunny this morning when I drove to downtown FtL. Light rain bands pretty constant now, winds, which are the key, still not that bad. Not a good time to have satellite TV tho.
Flight probably be a little "bouncy". Good luck. My wife would be stressing big time.

It's cloudy and relatively cool here (for August in FL). Hopefully it will catch the Gulf stream and just give us some wind and rain. Be careful friends and neighbors!

Safe on the ground in Fort Lauderdale. Hold off for our three hour layover and we are home free.

Not even raining now. Just a little breeze. You should be good. Storm kicks back up later tonight.
