Guess I need to make a Publix run for gatorade, water (and beer of course) charcoal and steaks. Time to charge up the laptop. :)

Seriously I hope everyone is safe.

Flight home from St Thomas today. We are supposed to change planes in Ft Lauderdale around sunset. Should be an interesting day.

Seems to be slowing up greatly - and hugging the Florida coast. Fortunately as far as storms go this one is very small

    Just a suggestion.

If it’s raining heavily outside DO NOT grill your steaks in the house.

    :)

I guess I should get a couple of frozen pizzas as a backup. :)

Hopefully the power stays on so the oven works, and if not it's gonna be like college days and hit the Chef Boyardee straight out of the can. Sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do. :)

Through security. Tell the storm to take its time getting to Florida.

That's gonna be cutting it close. We're expected to be getting TS winds here around that time or shortly after.

I spent yesterday pretty sure I’d be spending another night in St Thomas. Fingers crossed. Our unit has another night on it if we get cancelled. But I’m betting if today is cancelled, Sunday is a problem too.

I guess the wind speeds are there, but it doesn't look like much of a hurricane to me:

The heaviest and more hurricane-like storms are on the other side out of the view of that radar. Plus, this is a very small storm.

Not sure what you mean, other side of what? Here's a broader scope:
