Unless you have rats, you don’t want cats.

I wonder what PETA’s response is to killing invasive species that are destroying the wildlife.

We have marsh rats where I live. They take cats hostage and sell them to the racoons.

Interesting thing, where I live there are very few cats. The ones that exist are strictly indoors. I think it's a combination of untenable winters and lots of wildlife (foxes, coyotes, wolves, etc.) that make cats endangered.

In Chile, they have a serious dog problem. Other than the upscale urban hoods, there are street dogs just about everywhere. Never seen anything like it.

in this ecosystem, nothing comes close to what pythons are doing. They could be the cutest cuddliest things on the planet and we would need to purge them.

Just got back from Ft Lauderdale. Iguanas were Everywhere. I'd seen them before in Puerto Rico but never that many in my son's neighborhood. You can't leave your door opened.

I prefer taking care of rats myself....We had an infestation a couple of years back and I did my Bill Murray Varmint Cong impression as I was setting traps. I had so much fun that week me vs the varmints. I was pretty sure this was the last one when I posted this picture. It turned out there was one more after this one.

they are also now catching and tagging males and then when they see an aggregation of males in one area they go in and find the female the males are all chasing. take her out and leave the males to lead them to the next female.

Put a bounty on them large enough to get people to go get them.

I don't know why they have to have a "season" to catch these things. Make it open year round. Unless the only thing these hunters are doing it for is the prize money, then I get it.

In Oklahoma, they have a year-round season on hunting and killing the wild hogs. Basically you can hunt them 24/7/365 and use equipment that is prohibited for other kinds of hunting, spotlights, explosives, larger capacity shotguns, etc. You can hunt at night if you tell the game ranger you are going to hunt hogs.

I love it when the owners of "indoor outdoor" cry on FB that their cat went missing. I'm not sympathetic.

Maybe allow hunting all year long and up the prize at the end of the year.
