That is our next step, right? Sign players who aren't concerned with the roster and love to compete and are confident they will get on the field.
I am not wanting to be the naysayer of the board, but I don't like where this is headed. We were all up in arms when Miami supposedly bought him from us, and no one has mentioned that we may have done the very same thing? I know we have money, but there are folks out there with more money. I am not a fan of buying players if that is in fact what happened. Or are we running with the narrative that he just loved UF so much he gave up all that money?
Your concerns are duly noted. Welcome to the new age. Corruption stacked upon corruption. Money buys everything. Thank you Greg Stankey, University Presidents and every scumbag that destroyed amateur collegiate football and handed the game to American Oligarchs that can manipulate the game any way they see fit on their Billionaire chessboard. AKA was right on NBN when he posted that he is rapidly losing passion and interest in what has now become a completely corrupt entity. The filth has infected all the major sports and will ultimately filter down to all sports.
I read the book, that guy was ..... unbelievable. Wiped out an entire NVA Company with one spotter. Won the Remington medal. Waxed a General. Modified a 50 Cal to be the ultimate sniper rifle. I think I would have let Carlos "cut in front of me at the chow line" if he wanted to.....lol
We're going with "not sure what's going on" so let's see how it all plays out and what comes to light. Character is revealed in battle.
Fox, but do the ends justify the means? Not sure I like this path, particularly when a week ago the media thrust was UF was above play for pay, wanted character kids that love the University, blah blah blah.
I don’t think that’s the case I don’t think UF increased thier offer the more I hear about the back story Rashada realized UM was not a good place for him I have read on here numerous times do not believe the $$$$ that are being reported
I'm hoping he always wanted to be a Gator, Ruiz made him an offer he could not refuse, but then he watched the disaster that is Miami football "on the field" and decided, hey, I can't be part of that mess, no matter how big the check. At least that is what my brain would like to think.
To give the devil his due, Mario is an excellent recruiter and apparently talks a really good game. Unfortunately for da ewe, he's apparently not so great at coaching one. Frankly, any high-level QB looking at the abysmal performance on O in scUM town would have to have rocks in his head to go there. Also, if reports seen elsewhere are true, this has been in the works since September and DID NOT come about as the result of a Brinks truck making a late-night delivery to the Rashada household. JMHO.
Or perhaps he realized that playing in front of 300 people and getting waxed by Duke and f$u, all while not being able to score TD's, wasn't a good fit for him! LMAO
Don't be going all star trek on me now Rick, I'm still trying to figure out which millenia those guys are in...........lol
