4 home games, 4 away games,
And we get to see 2 teams twice in these final 8.
A couple “senior days” involved too.

    Host Vandy
    @ Bama
    @ LSU
    Host Missouri
    @ Vandy
    Host UGA

We just have SO many deficiencies: No inside presence, no depth, no "bell cow" scorer, no creator, too many scoring droughts, iffy foul shooting, too many late jacked up shots, that it's hard to see us "catching fire". God Bless'em, they play hard and have their moments, but we're just too out manned and out gunned.
Pulling for that NIT Invite, bayyyybeee!

Seems that someone didn’t read the question. In the thread I started four games ago, I suggested 6-6. Sticking w that, so 5-3.

I know this is revisionist from the other poll. I previously said 6-6. I don't think the team's mindset is to win close, tough games right now. You need leadership to overcome it and no one is going to do that if they haven't by now. We hit a bunch of 3s, we can win. If not then we lose. Unless we play UGa every game.

We will end up either 15-16 or 16-15 going into the SEC tournament. The game at Vandy is a toss up game because of the quirkiness of that gym.

I guess I'm more optimistic than most for a change, I said 6-2. If we can beat who we're supposed to beat and go 2-1 against Bama and LSU, we're in. @ Alabama is the only game that I went full optimism on, it's a must-win. Beating LSU at home would be the signature win we need.

After about 18 votes...it’s almost exactly even for every occurrence between 2-6 & 6-2!

6-2 definitely gets us into the dance. 5-3 and we'll need to win the first game in the SEC tournament. 4-4 and we're NIT bound barring a deep tournament run.

I'm looking for a 5-3 finish. Hold serve on all the home games (including an upset over LSU), pull out a road win in Nashville. No expectations for the SEC Tournament, get some postseason experience in the NIT.

I say o and 8. Honestly I stand more chance of being right than wrong. Just the fact that we have to hope for 3's to be in a game just speaks volumes.

I tend to think of myself as a bit of a pessimistic contrarian, but apparently, I have a ways to go!

That puts ya in the tourney, imo... barring a first game flameout in sect.

Actually, you have a much greater chance of being wrong.
But if you feel differently... I’ll take that action!

I voted 6-2. We have come back from 3 straight losses in past seasons. I hope the seniors keep giving their all and we can find out just how much better the last three teams were that we played. Got to start building confidence against 0-10 Vandy on Wednesday. We lose that game and my mind changes completely.

You are a serious optimist. I can’t imagine a bubble that weak.

We're 38 in Kenpom, 11 in strength of schedule, and still in Lunardi's field. Probably need to beat LSU once in order to have a signature win. Still a solid shot.

I love the optimism but I don't see an LSU win myself. But hey, hope I'm wrong!!

    Cincy;

That would be a heck of a draw............ Iowa to open up with and the first two games in Jacksonville............

Yes it would although Iowa would be a very tough matchup. Garza and Cook would be loads to handle on the inside. We'd have to truly play like a hungry mid-major.
