How much will we see Emory play on Saturday?

I would prefer only seeing EJ if the offense is struggling to move the ball. No need inserting him if we are moving the ball.

Oh man I'm super excited to see if we use Emory on the option with a pitch to KT, could you imagine he gets the corner and is GONE!

Red zone where we need more lateral movement opening options that confuse the compressed D.

What about the LSU game? It's the only game we lost and I don't remember Emory playing at all, unless I am forgetting something.

Go to the 11 minute mark and the 16 minute mark.

    Inside your head.
We definitely will see EJ play if Kyle loses his helmet.

Emory got quite a lot of snaps vs LSU.

Thanks - went back and checked and he was our second leading rusher and accounted for one of our four touchdowns.

I must be getting old not to remember that!

Looks like only 3 passing attempts against 9 rushing plays. Trask ran the ball 10 times.

I still feel he's an option at QB we could use effectively - but we'd need for it to be unpredictable for optimum effect.

I think we might see him come in and throw the ball. Everyone has focused on his legs, but the surprise might be that he comes in slinging it down field.

I expect a pretty good amount of EJ and I’m excited for it. He can move the ball and makes Trask more on point.

I would expect to see some of Emory this year, only because we saw him mixed in last year. I don't remember him being very effective against them, though.

EJ also wasn't nearly as good last year as he is now....
I'm pretty sure that Mullen has a plan for him Saturday.

    I agree.

In fact if you think about it - Emory could be a legitimate "X Factor" in the game - ESPECIALLY IF Coach Mullen uses him at the right time and with the right play calling!

Kind of exciting when you think of it.

I’d prefer to see him if Trask and the off is struggling and we can’t run the ball

    Which I hope doesn’t happen

When Emory goes in.... it seems that the running game goes up..
He has that mobility that tends to distract our opponent's defense...plus..
He has his arm, which he really didn't have much of last year.

He'll be a weapon... Mullen will use him "Smart"-ly in this game.:D
