One obvious so far.
It could almost be said that UK should have won by 23.
after UK and LSU, we shouldn't be favored in any game. can't win without semblance of coaching and not sure sure where that's going to look like especially on D. Is TOG suffering some senior related malady??
I’m from Memphis and most years the Liberty Bowl is the coldest day of the year but Beale and South Main are fun.
I see Georgia as a blow out, and every road game is going to be a loss. So I say 3 more losses for sure. If that happens, FSU maybe favored depending on their trajectory. It's possible both teams may finish the season fighting to get to .500.
I wish SwampGas had a rating for “disappointing”
One, possibly 2. 8-4 was my low end for this year, 10-2(at least) next year with a mature quarterback. Hopefully they surprise me.
I don't think it matters anymore. At this point the players need to play the best they can to get what they can on film if they want to make it to the NFL. It's a pride thing at this point for the players.
We'll lose a lot of guys off this year's team and don't have guys as talented to replace them IMO. Our recruiting is average by SEC standards and I see next year's team not being as good as this one, even with improved QB play. We have to go to Tennessee and Texas A&M, plus will lose to Georgia again, probably Kentucky again, maybe LSU again. I just think this program is heading in the wrong direction. Again, look at who we're losing off this year's roster and the guys slated to replace them. Other than QB, where will we be better?
hmmm Memphis for the Liberty or Shreveport for the weedwhacker? Good times, maybe Birmingham? sheesh....
What made you suspect 6 losses?
Hopefully Mullen won’t say the 2021 team disbanded… in 2020.
Agree on Memphis weather, but we hit Beale St last year, major disappointment, wouldn't go back.
I get the pessimism/frustration but predicting losses to SC, Mizzou and even fsu is over the top. Those teams are terrible. This team ends the regular season 8-4 imo.
LSU is terrible
They are. But they're better than Missouri, Samford, USC and FSU.
That's no guarantee we beat those four but ... we absolutely should.
The LSU we played (minus like half their starters) is not better than FSU, USC or Mizzou. At best they are tied. This LSU is putrid. They will be lucky to win 1 more SEC game
Just a reminder here ... FSU lost to Jacksonville State. It's not even a "good" Jacksonville State.
Missouri is currently winless in the conference.
South Carolina's lone SEC win is a 1-point victory over Vandy. The same one we beat by 42 and East Tennessee State beat by 20.
Let's keep some perspective here. I know the LSU loss was painful, seriously look at those points.
