FSU is a toss up to me. Norvell will play his best players. As I said earlier, whether we we win or not, depends on: does Dan start and stick with AR? Does Dan call conservative with AR or go for it more like he did the second half yesterday. Does Grantham make adjustments or just keep doing the same thing expecting different results?
And I bet they are feeling confident they can beat us now, and we have doubts. How quickly things change in a month. I pray it flips back.
Thought I would expand your post for accuracy. Depends on if coach Dickey or Coach Muschamp plays to win or to avoid losing. The latter usually leads to losses.
Unfortunately, Grantham doesn’t make adjustments, so we better play a near perfect offensive game with no turnovers and minimal penalties.
When it comes to negativity it's almost impossible to underestimate Gator fans. Realistically, UGA is a likely loss and FSU is now a tossup. We should win the other games including South Carolina.
If there isn't a defense change like Mullen stated last night and Mullen keeps playing Jones there will be a couple more losses coming.
Let’s imagine we lose to FSU to end the season. Does Mullen survive? IMO he’d lose all remaining fans at that point. Can’t beat the least talented FSU team we’ve faced since before Bobby? Just pack it up we’re done. Crazy how off the rails a season can get when you burn all your goodwill early with what we’ve seen so far.
All I know is this team can play down to the level of any opponent. So between that and not looking prepared in any first half this year, who knows? I expect a lot of dogfights.
If anyone wonder how bad this defense, just watch how Tre'vez Johnson tackles and them you have Amari Burney who have a sit on the field to watch the game better.
I see only two more sure wins, SC and the sacrificial lamb on 11/13. 1 definite loss in UGAG. The rest are toss ups including the bowl game.
You obviously haven't watched any SC games. We almost lost to Vandy. Even when we win it is very ugly. It's going to take years to wash off the stench of He Who Destroys Programs. Honestly, I don't see this team win another game this season.
SC really is having a tough go, I expected some of this because Muschamp likes to burn it down when he leaves but it isn’t great.
We have some younger impatient fans arguing that Muschamp had highly ranked recruiting classes and Beamer should be doing better, but his recruiting was all over the place without regard for cohesiveness. And in typical Muschamp coaching style, he really is a QB killer.
