    Oh my god YES. I screamed this nonstop back then. They got a cupcake in the bowls and would have gotten pasted by Nebraska.

    And a demonstration that Universities can cut better deals if they have some backbone. Michigan got leverage on Harbaugh by not extending his contract for several years, thus significantly reducing their buyout. More universities need to do the same. I am convinced that, outside of a few guys like Urban Meyer, these coaches really don't have that much leverage and can be convinced to sign for less money and lower buyouts.
