Personally, I think he's already checked out mentally and is anticipating getting a call from an NFL team or two.

The NFL is contemplating additional draft picks for teams that hire minority HCs... the timing might not be good for a Harboring NFL return. Then again the NFL does like retreads.

Maybe a team would hire Mrs Harbaugh as HC...

ha really? Golden, one more reason not to watch the NFL. Not that I do, haven't seen a game in over a decade.

They are the UGA of the north. Entitled fanbase that believes they should be winning or playing for a national title every year.

Harbaugh seemed like a slam dunk hire but the shine is off now. Problem is--who does Michigan go get? Everybody since Carr has flamed out.

Ive been shocked before but I honestly think UM is done coaching forever. Hes got millions and millions of dollars, a few rings, and a cushy network gig that keeps him plugged into the game.

He has stated outloud before that you have to go somewhere with underlying talent already in place to be succesful today as a head coach. No one gives you a five-year plan these days; you have to win right out of the blocks. That's why he chose both Florida and OSU to come to. Most jobs are open because they're much worse off than those two programs were.

Atleast uga tends not to lose to teams with much lesser talent. Uga seems to falter when the talent disparity isn't there or in their favor. Harbaugh finds ways to lose regardless of who he's playing and gets regularly beaten down by rivals.

Yeah he has. That's obviously untrue though. Plenty of coaches are given time to rebuild providing they show progress. Look at the subject of this thread, for example, and he's not even showing progress 5 years later. Or Muschamp at USC. Jimbo at TAM, UCLA, etc... I don't think he wants to work, just ride out a pre existing talent advantage.

The guy obviously knows what he's doing in regards to winning, but not convinced he's a great coach as much as a great identifier of underutilized talent that other teams have. There's a reason he never tried the NFL, no talent advantage.

PJ Fleck or Luke Fickell and yes I know he played and coached at OSU, but that hasn't stopped others from going to a rival. With schools losing millions there may not be that many "elite" Power 5 openings in the near future.

Urban was an analyst yesterday that tore into Penn State, Michigan, and even LSU in terms of coaching, environment and culture. Highlighted 3 foundational things they need to fix
