We struggled to get a push in the running game again. This time against Towson. I think the auburn defensive line may be a little more stout.

The only reason we have a chance is because I’m coming down for the game and will have the crowd jacked.

Looks to me like we’ll be throwing on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd downs, with a sprinkling of runs to have a chance.

We need to go +3 or so on turnovers.

I will be pleasantly surprised if we can pull this one out. Auburn is up 35-6 over miss st currently with 5 mins to go in the second quarter.

I think we might see something similar to the MSU gameplan last year... lots of sideline to sideline passes and runs, try to fatigue their DL that way.

But honestly, I think we are at a disadvantage on both LOS... it's really hard to win a game when that happens.

I'm not feeling good about the game either but nobody thought Tennessee would beat them last year, at Auburn nonetheless, so there is a chance. I hope getting back Henderson, Zuniga and Miller makes a big difference.

My guess is that we are going to have to hope for turnovers on defense and score points throwing the ball. Otherwise...

    Down On Da' Bayou
A Frosh QB playing in the Swamp for the first time against our defense is a good start.

We can pass on them judging by our receivers against their secondary.
We need to bottle up Nix and have him make mistakes.
But we can't let them get a big lead on us.
    Otherwise, it's game over.

We went through the motions today. No push in the running game is a legit issue though. We might not be improved on the line until next year. These guys seem kind of weak upfront.

Agree with your assessment. I think we’ve seen what this team is going to be for the remainder of the season. Lots of short to medium passes with an occasional shot downfield. Really wish we could get more out of the running game as I think it would open up the passing game even more. I do think we may see more QB runs over the next month.

AU is going to have to play an off game and for us to take advantage of that. Lucky bounces our way and lucky calls...with no real running game and VERY suspect O Line..its gonna be a long night.

That is expected considering how young they are.
