Interesting information. We are all very familiar with the kenpom poll but this is the first that I have heard of the Battorvik. A lot of Florida's opponents seem to be roughly be ranked similarly in capability as the Gators: ----------------------------------------------------------- KP: 52. Oklahoma 37. Oklahoma St : 28. Auburn 25. Florida 24. FSU 19. Alabama 18. Maryland 17. Kentucky 15. Tennessee 13. Arkansas "KenPom predicts the Gators to go 21-9 heading into postseason play, with an 11-7 record in SEC play. " That seems to be about the right prediction. ---------------------------------------------------------- The 2nd one seems to give more weightage towards returning players who have produced in major conferences (i.e, Myreon Jones - Penn St, Castleton/Appleby/Duruji - UF) & and less from those who are not (i.e, McKissic/Fleming/Felder & Reeves). Interestingly, Felder did play at Boston College of the ACC. That prediction looks completely off to me. I think that many of the new transfers will do much better than what was projected here.
