So as the OP I appreciate all the variety of opinions. We all have different tolerances and we all want what is best for UF. God bless

I think the more realistic option here is firing TG. If Mullen is as competitive as he says he is then this will be TG's last year with UF.

On a side note, it looks like Manny Diaz will have some free time on his hands next year. He's a former Mullen DC with ties to South Florida. Could Mullen have Diaz be his next DC???

Mullen gets a little more time to straighten this out. Mullen may not move as fast as some fans would like but he does eventually make the correct move. Let's see what happens.

True is true. Mac won w Mac’s players. Even then he lost 4 games with great talent.

This isn’t about coddling, it’s about how the coaching society works. Nobody in any profession wants to work for someone who dissects their performance in the media. How is it TG always lands in a new gig an the previous fan base rejoices at his departure.

The media and pundits will do an adequate job of detailing TGs inadequacies and its effects on the program. Rest assured DM now recognizes the anchor TG is to efforts and changes are in the works.

It was obvious last year Grantham was an anchor. If Dan didn’t see it then why are we confident he sees it now?

Are you folks crazy? Do you remember how bad things were under Champ and Tootles the Clown McElwain? My God. Under Mullen we have played nose to nose with every power team on offense including GA last year and AL this year. It's the defense that always melts down. Always. Mullen needs to put his big boy pants on and fire his friend, Grantham. That will be the truest test of leadership he's had to make since he got to Gainesville. Don't blow it Dan!

    Revisionist history.

Things are just as bad now as they were under those two coaches

Nope. We couldn't score any points. Total disaster. How soon we forget.

Yes it was a total disaster

Now we can’t stop other teams from scoring points. Which is also a total disaster

And he has proven he can win with his own players at Mississippi State... pretty much more than any coach in Mississippi State history.

But I guess year 4 at Florida (this year) is all that matters to you guys. "Fire everybody."

Seriously, if that's how ya'll think, you don't deserve the next Spurrier (if such a coach even exists).

"But 715, LSU just fired Coach O, we're not being unreasonable." LSU doesn't deserve an elite coach, either.

There are more issues than just missing on a QB and the defensive coordinator. The offensive and defensive lines were completely dominated on Saturday. The offensive line has looked poor for several weeks now. We also fail to get consistent pressure from the defensive line.

The fact that we are even having this debate is not good.

OL has not looked poor for "weeks." OL did not even look poor for the entire game against LSU. We looked worse at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball in the second half when LSU started rolling.

    We looked great against Bama.

When Emory was in the game in the first half, he had time... and LSU was daring us to throw the ball.

We were not able to run the ball consistently against UK,vandy or LSU so, yes, our offensive line has looked bad for weeks.

This is such a stupid thing to say. Saying it shows how out of touch our fanbase gets very quickly. It can get much worse and it was before Mullen got here. The 7 years under Muschamp and McElwain did get much worse than anything Mullen has done so far, there were actual losing seasons in there that hurt our brand and are part of the reason we are where we are. McElwain won depleted SEC Easts and was annihilated in most of the big games. Mullen has some big wins here and last years victory over Georgia was big in my opinion. Mullen has some bad losses on his record now, specifically the 2 most recent LSU losses and the Mizzou loss his first season, so I get the increasing scrutiny. But the trajectory of this program was trending up every year until this backslide. I feel like next year is shaping up to be a show-me year for Mullen though. With Richardson running Mullen's offense, I feel good about that side of the ball. I hope Mullen is able to figure out his defense, and I think he will be.

Please never say things like it can't get much worse. We all know it is a real possibility to get worse with a new coach. And if you forget, please look at Miami and FSU's programs.
