Franks at the helm had he not gotten taken out by Kentucky?
I think we lose 1 more game and it was the KY game.
Tough call, but we probably lose the UK game. And maybe the Auburn game as well. Not necessarily all on him, the lack of the OL made Franks revert back to some bad habits.
What's your point with this post? Franks is leaving, move on.
Add the USCe game I think as well.
Maybe he clicks and we win more.
So? It’s still a question that can be debated. If you don’t like it no need to comment.
Franks led us to multiple come-from-behind-late wins in his time at UF. LSU and South Carolina in 2018, Miami in 2019. No he wasn’t perfect in any of those games but give it a rest people.
No one will ever know and no need to take a swipe at Franks.
Well, it's a message board where we throw out anything vague and completely fantastic as if it were factual so I'll give a likewise answer:
I think we win every game in 2019 if Franks was our QB.
Prove me wrong.
You forgot Franks to Cleveland Tennessee game.
With the regular season over and Franks moving on I'm not surprised this thread was created. Is it a fair question is up for debate, but it's an interesting question.
Hell, we could also be undefeated and in the playoffs with FF. Also the QB who shall not be named still gets brought up from time to time.
I wish him plenty of success when he leaves here, but gun to my head, I'm happy he is no longer under center. Really wish the circumstances were better for why he was no longer the starter, but extremely happy he isn't taking snaps for us any longer. He had an awesome 4 game run for us to close out the season, however he looked AWFUL during the Miami game and was on his way to a 2nd straight loss to Kentucky. If you really think about it, Kentucky goes 3-0 against us the last 3 years if Franks remains the starter in 2 of the 3 games (pulled for Del Rio in 2017, hurt in 2019). The 1 game they won he played the entire game. Not trying to pile on, just being honest since it's the offseason and it's a slow news day for UF right now.
I think the run game would have come around more with Frank's. Not to say we would be killing it, but a QB who is a threat to run does change defensive assignments. Idk if that translates into winning more or not.
probably but I think the intermediate passing game suffers which is where we EXCELLED the most this year. It was always boom or bust with Franks.
I'm much happier having KT or EJ.
I'm guessing he's offering this topic up for discussion on account of this being a discussion forum. This internet thing is complicated, but you'll get it eventually.
I will not share my personal thoughts on this subject, except in person, over a cold beer. I shall let sleeping dogs lie.
In honor of this weekend’s box office hit.
Oh, I got it. And as I've discussed previously, I think it's pointless and douchey.
The Internet can be a troubling place it isn't for the faint of heart.
