SEC football schedule 2021: Dates and key matchups
Better than what I saw someone on here post a week or so ago in which we were playing bamar LSU and ga back to back to back. All things considered I think the schedule isn’t bad
Wish we could replace Samford of FAU with someone more interesting, UVA, UNC, NC state something along those lines.
Normally I’d be on board and complain about the OOC cupcakes but the AD has made improvements to thr schedule...those games are just a few years out as they are scheduled well in advance (for some reason).
Pretty tough schedule, actually. Alabama from the West (we might well have upset them with Kyle and Kyle at home with a full crowd, but, this game will be tough). LSU at Baton Rouge.
I hate when Alabama comes to town because Saban is a complete jerk in controlling the hotel in Ocala. Unlike every other visiting team, he makes the Hilton bump all the pre-game check-ins until after the game to accomodate his demands. Even though he only comes once every twelve years, the hotel bows down to him like a king, and, leaves the out-of-town Gator fans that are loyal customers each week and every year during the season in the lurch. Sad.
Only 6 home games. Wonder if I'll get a refund? (Not holding my breath).
I was wondering about that, too. I rolled my tickets into next year like many did, and, I also had a pair of extra single game LSU tickets. I'm assuming whatever is not used by next year's games will stay on your account as a credit, vice any returns.
I can't recall what happened to my Georgia tix...did they refund those to ppl who didn't/couldn't go?
Probably not, but, I can't answer that because I didn't have Georgia tix last year. Georgia always seems to be handled differently than the other games because there is a commercial entitity involved, though.
Yeah I like that, I know this one was already set, but if 2020 taught us anything these schedules can be changed at a moments notice. Games being scheduled 10 years out seems pointless. I am excited for the Utah series and what was the other Cal?
of course UF could do this, as we saw this year, schedules can be changed up on the fly (2-3 weeks) but I'm guessing it is really do to lack of "want."
Georgia tix were refunded and will need to be reordered for next season.
We have trips to Utah, Cal, Texas, Arizona State, Miami, Colorado, NC State over the next 10-12 years. Not in that order.

Just take your biz elsewhere.
We actually have started doing that during certain games. Alabama for that reason. But, we also don't stay there during FSU or LSU games because we don't want to deal with their fans. Otherwise, it's the best option in Ocala. The Hampton is OK, too.
happens once every 12 years and it bugs you this much?
Bammer our third game? Maybe there will be a meteor strike in Tuscaloosa the week before. It would be sad, but not horrible.
Looking to the bright side if we beat everyone else. Big "IF"! We'd still get a decent bowl game. Actually, outside chance beating bammer at home with a rabid packed stadium. Emory Jones...dude should be practicing doing football night school and stuff. Gotta read the defenses, throw the passes. But our receivers REALLY need to step it up. They need to catch anything and everything that comes within ten feet of them. I'll give our guys this year that much. Those dudes had some sticky hands. And, they went up high. Lng offseason. Hope they're practicing like crazy.
Bugged me a lot then. So much, it still bugs me now when I think about it. The new sked made me think about it. I'll probably be okay for another twelve years or so after this, though.
