There’s a list a mile long of what matters to recruits but week 4 polls ain’t it. Lol

 

I wondered about that. Saw one athletic writer had moved us up all the way to #4. I can’t recall if there’s precedent for moving a team up even after a loss but if there was ever a case it would be this one. Specially as bad as some of the top 10 has looked

 

In 06, they wanted to move Michigan up to the title game because of their quality loss.

 

Yea remember that. Desmond Howard still hates us from that

 

Completely understand the sentiment and largely agree with it, BUT the AP poll and the coaches poll have begun the path of extinction that we saw with dinosaurs and are currently observing with Notre Dame as a revered team and the bowl system. The polls' inaccuracies are no longer meaningful.

Yeah, some of the teams ranked in the top ten haven’t looked good at all. Regardless of how things shake out today in the polls, some of those teams are going to see reality very soon. We continue to win the placement will take care of itself over the next two to three weeks.

Name another team who has shut down Bama over the last 3 qtrs like that? They struggled to run the whole game averaging only 3.3 yards per rush. I'm pretty sure a gigantic part of stopping the run requires tackling.....

Please tell me who hasn't looked pedestrian? Did you see Clemson barely win and still can't put points on the board? How about Oklahoma and their very pedestrian showings the last 3 games, shit throw in Ohio State too. Pretty much all of the "cream of the crop" teams have shown vulnerabilities so far this season, that's good for football as a whole, so let's playbill. I think people are trying too hard to discredit our team. Just accept that we are pretty good too.
