One thing she has proven is that she will say whatever she needs to curry favor with the group she is addressing. She left her spine at home the day she met with the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Those "gentlemen" did nothing to conceal their agenda and she was all in.
The interview RiverGator was referring to.

Did that make any sense at all as you were typing it?

A certain segment of the Republican base derived apparent great satisfaction in referring to President Obama by his full name, Barack Hussein Obama, with a heavy emphasis on his middle name. I wonder if they will start calling Haley by her birth name, Nimarata Nikki Randhawa, and if Trump will be the first one to do so publicly.

She is a republican running in a conservative state. If you want to get elected you don’t go in blasting liberal values. Ultimately when the chance came about, she pushed to get the flag taken down, and she was able to pull that off with 2/3 majorities.

She has decided she is going to try to split the baby somewhere between going full MAGA and setting herself on fire like Liz Cheney. It would make me feel better if she would go the Liz Cheney route, but if she wants to get elected that’s not going to work.

Many people say they want a more sane Republican Party, and she is one path to getting there.

I think Trump mostly leaves her alone. She won’t criticize him and he won’t criticize her. Her presence helps him by diluting the field.

Agree and as long as she doesn't criticize she will remain a real possibility as his running mate.

It would be really interesting if he would pick her and if she would take it. She risks really tarnishing her brand if she does.

I highly doubt she will be considered for VP. She is so unpopular with conservatives that a write in candidate Perry Johnson at CPAC beat her in a poll for President. A write in beat her. That means the Tea Party ethos is alive and well. I think Trump will be picking someone like Kari Lake. The MAGA audience loves her.

We need Nikki or someone like her to get the moderates. I’m telling you Trump cannot win again.

Although I think the 2024 election with Trump as the Republican nominee will be a repeat of 2020 no matter whom he selects as his running mate, Kari Lake on the ticket will be another nail in Trump's political coffin. She will have the same effect on the ticket that Sarah Palin had in 2008. Not that there will be very many swing voters with Trump heading the ticket, Lake would effectively alienate the few remaining ones.

Nikki is not moderate and the female version of Paul Ryan. She got 3% of the votes at CPAC for President and 10% to be VP. She is a fake and in bed with WEF. That is not America First. You are not paying attention to the details.

    What can Trump not win?

Different time and different situation politically. Kari Lake is super sharp. She is a rising star. The disgruntled swing voter who hates where the country is headed will appreciate her for telling it like it is.

While I would never count out Trump (I made that mistake in 2016), he will have same impact on voters that he had in the 2018 midterms and the 2020 presidential election specifically mobilizing younger voters and minorities to turn out and vote for the Democratic candidate, almost certainly Joe Biden keeping in mind the main reason that Trump was able to pull the proverbial electoral rabbit out of the hat in 2016 was because voters from those demographics especially in the swing states stayed home because they were pissed off at Hillary Clinton.

I like Nikki. She did well removing the confederate flag after a shooting. I think hope she was a pragmatic conservative. It’s hard to say what she is now.

While granting that she is smoother than Palin, Kari Lake's greatest appeal is to voters who would vote for Trump anyway. Kari Lake would add virtually nothing to the ticket.
