I like the head shots. We have 16 on the roster ready to go to war in 2025 with 2 of the top 5 in the world recovering from their Achilles heel injuries. We know now who replaced Megan Skaggs: Meredith Lucero - Assistant to the Head Coach - Gymnastics Support Staff - Florida Gators Morgan Hurd apparently has retired from performing as she is not on the roster and has a new gig with UF: Morgan Hurd - Creative Content - Gymnastics Support Staff - Florida Gators There is no student assistant coach. This is no surprise as Trinity Thomas is/was irreplaceable. Will Gomez has replaced Shea Wheeler as a Manager: Will Gomez - Manager - Gymnastics Support Staff - Florida Gators I'm sure there is a story as to why Selena Harris is now listed as Selena Harris-Miranda. I don't know the story, but I'm sure there is one.
I am glad that Morgan found a job at UF. That keeps Victoria here. All are listed as AA, but we know that is not true for Riley.
CGN Most Impactful Transfers & Freshmen in the 2024 season: Data Deep Dive: Highest-Impact Transfers and Freshmen - College Gym News Most Impactful Freshmen Anya Pilgrim Pilgrim is a CGN staff favorite for a reason – picture perfect gymnastics on all four events. Even while competing with the likes of Leanne Wong and Sloane Blakely, she proved herself as one of Florida’s top all-arounders. She put up a massive 39.675 against Kentucky and notched at least one 9.9+ in every regular season meet. Amidst a packed troupe of Gator all-arounders, she competed on all four events in all but one meet. She put up 31 scores of 9.9 or higher, helping to ease the loss of Trinity Thomas and Kayla DiCello. She earned a perfect 10 on floor against Kentucky and was nearly perfect on bars and beam. Vault 9.920 NQS Bars 9.895 NQS Beam 9.915 NQS Floor 9.900 NQS I would have had Skylar Draser on the list too. Skylar was as a freshman the closest thing we have had since Megan Skaggs as a leadoff: Skylar Draser - Gymnastics - Florida Gators Skylar Draser Collegiate Bests: Vault: 9.95 3-3/15-24 Bars: 9.90 4-7/20-24 Beam: 9.90 Six times Floor: 9.85 1-12-24 AA: 39.50 4-5-24 AS A FRESHMAN (2024): Set collegiate vault best (9.95) to share second with teammate Danie Ferris at Kentucky Opened March 15 quad competition with vault 9.95 and mark topped the remaining 23 competitors Collegiate beam balance best of 9.90 six times, including in every NCAA meet (Regional Second Round, Regional Final, NCAA Semifinal, Team Final). Led off beam lineup in every meet. Competed at least two events in every meet. Collegiate all-around debut at Ameritas Master’s Classic shared third with Anya Pilgrim at 39.45. Eighth highest total for a Gator making all-around debut Set collegiate all-around (39.50) and bars (9.90) best in NCAA Regional Second Round. Equaled bars best in NCAA Team Final. Gator Gymnastics’ Most Consistent after hitting all 40 routines in 2024. Southeastern Conference First-Year Academic Honor Roll
I would bet big money that the multi million dollar NIL success Dunne had there was what they sold her on and made the difference. just the completely upside down world we live in now.
The November signing period for 2026 gymnasts is just not that far away. This is the roster we are projected to have for 2026 presuming no injuries and no transfers in or out: On Scholarship 2026 1. Lori Brubach 2. Selena Harris-Miranda 3. Alyssa Arana 4. Kaylee Bluffstone 5. Kayla DiCello 6. Gabby Disidore 7. Skylar Draser 8. Danie Ferris 9. Anya Pilgrim 10. Skye Blakely 11. Lily Bruce 12. Taylor Clark 13. Amelia Disidore - 2025 signed 14. Madelyn Dorbin - 2025 signed 15. Jocelyn Sasson - 2025 signed UF has zero commitments from the class of 2026 to date. CJR usually keeps 18+- ship gymnasts on the roster. I hope UF attracts 3 to 4 outstanding gymnasts between now and the November signing day. So far, UF is 0-4 on visits missing out on 5-star Hezley Rivera when she chose LSU over OU and UF. Speaking of Oklahoma, they have 6 committed gymnasts in the 2026 class, one 5 stars and five 4 stars.
By the way on Healy, not only did LSU have Dunne’s NIL to sell, apparently Hezly and Dunne had the same elite coaches. So far less suprising, all things considered.

Three 5 star and one 4-star gymnasts are visiting UF this weekend: Jayla Hang - 5-star 2nd ranked gymnast according to College Gym News. She is from the Pacific Northwest. Jayla Hang (@jayla_hang_gymnast) • Instagram photos and videos Jayla Hang has visited Stanford and Florida. *Dulcy Caylor - 5-star 8th ranked gymnast according to College Gym News. Dulcy Caylor (@dulcycaylor) • Instagram photos and videos Dulcy Caylor has visited Georgia, Oklahoma, LSU, and Florida. Kieryn Finnell (@kieryn.finnell) • Instagram photos and videos Kieryn Finnell - 9th ranked gymnast according to College Gym News. She is from Rochester, New York. She has visited Michigan, Stanford, and Florida. Raeya Linton - 13th ranked 4-star gymnast according to College Gyn News. Raeya Linton (@r.n.rae) • Instagram photos and videos Raeya Linton has visited Michigan, Michigan State, Maryland, Stanford, and Florida. Raeya missed 5 stars by 2 points due to getting lower scores on bars. She is 5 stars on 3 events. CGN has Linton as a gymnast to watch: From an article on CGN opining on gymnasts to watch: Why she’s one to watch: Linton came so close to five stars, coming in just two points shy with 76. This is due almost entirely to bars, where she had just 11 event points while vault, beam, and floor were all 20 points or higher, with beam reaching a near-perfect 23 out of 25. If she can improve bars even just the slightest bit over the next two seasons, she’ll be primed not just for five stars but for a successful college career. Raeya has a rare disorder: Congenital generalized lipodystrophy, sometimes referred to as Berardinelli-Seip syndrome, is an uncommon lipodystrophy variant with significant and sometimes near-total fat loss. It has autosomal recessive inheritance and patients present with findings at birth or in early infancy. Summing up the 4 visits for the 10/4 weekend: #2 Jayla Hang - 5 stars #8 Dulcy Caylor - 5 stars #9 Kieryn Finnell - 5 stars #13 Raeya Linton - 4 stars Presley Duke, the #1 ranked gymnast according to College Gym News, is rumored to be planning a visit with UF: Presley Duke (@presleyduke2026) • Instagram photos and videos Presley Duke is from Dynamo in Oklahoma, but if the sooners are filled up, OU might be off the table. She has visited Oklahoma, LSU, and Alabama. So far, no commitment, but her decision isn't likely far off with that type of visit list. Hope she does give UF a look. I can't imagine OU wouldn't find a way to bring her in if that's what she decides. How do you say no to the #1 ranked gymnast even if you do have 6 commitments already. EDIT: OU couldn't say no to #1 recruit Presley Duke. On 10/7, Presley became the sooner's 7th commit in the class of 2026. It's unbelievable how much space OU had in this class. Keep in mind, gymnastics isn't like football. Gymnasts can take as many visits as they want. However, most gymnasts make their decisions and sign in November. Gymnastics signing period: For NCAA D1 and D2 women’s gymnastics, the recruiting period starts on November 13, 2024 and ends on August 1, 2025. Insofar as other schools are concerned: I'm fairly certain Oklahoma has maxed out on the number of gymnasts they can bring in for the 2026 class. The sooners have 6 commitments. LSU has 3 commitments, but it seems they find ways to bring in more gymnasts than you think they can. Alabama has 2 commitments. The tide is also bringing in 2025 5-star gymnast Azarya Ra-Akbar. Georgia has 2 commitments. The poodles are also bringing in 2025 4-star gymnast Kelise Woolford. Michigan has 2 commitments. UCLA has 2 commitments. So far California, Florida, Michigan State, Stanford, and Utah do not have any commitments. EDIT: California obtained commitments from a 5 star and two 4-star gymnasts. Utah picked up a 4-star commitment. EDIT: UF 10/4 Weekend Recruiting Result(s): *Dulcy Caylor is UF's first commitment in the class of 2026. Dulcy is an outstanding 5-star addition to Gator Gymnastics. Welcome aboard Dulcy. From College Gym Fans: 2026-2027: Caylor to Florida - CollegeGymFans.com Monday, 07 October 2024 13:58 2026-2027: Caylor to Florida Dulcy Caylor, a senior elite from World Champions Centre, has committed to a full scholarship offer at Florida. She's a member of the class of 2026. In 2024, she qualified for the Olympic Trials after placing 14th AA at the Xfinity US Championships. In 2023, she finished 20th AA at the Xfinity US Championships. **Tuesday, 08 October 2024 09:37 2026-2027: Finnell to Florida 2026-2027: Finnell to Florida - CollegeGymFans.com Kieryn Finnell, a senior elite 5-star gymnast from RGA, has committed to a full scholarship offer at Florida, starting in 2026-2027. She had previously visited Michigan and Stanford. This past season, in her first season as a senior, she tied for 19th AA at the Xfinity US Championships. In 2023, as a junior, she placed 2nd in the AA and on BB, 3rd on UB, 6th on FX and 7th(t) at the Xfinity US Championships.
Looking ahead to the 2026 season roster as posted by College Gym News: Lori Brubach Selena Harris-Miranda Alyssa Arana Kaylee Bluffstone Kayla DiCello Gabby Disidore Skylar Draser Danie Ferris Anya Pilgrim Skye Blakely Lily Bruce Taylor Clark Amelia Disidore Madelyn Dorbin Jocelyn Sasson Just a guess, CJR likely will be in the transfer market for several gymnasts. Otherwise, UF will have a thinner roster than normal at 15 gymnasts. Insofar as the 2026 class (2027 season) is concerned, UF needs to bring in large class. Alyssa Arana Kaylee Bluffstone Kayla DiCello Gabby Disidore Skylar Draser Danie Ferris Anya Pilgrim Skye Blakely Lily Bruce Taylor Clark Amelia Disidore Madelyn Dorbin Jocelyn Sasson Dulcy Caylor 2026 Class - 10/7 Kieryn Finnell 2026 Class - 10/8 Simone Rose 2026 Class - 10/11
Presuming UF didn't secure commitments from Jaela Hang and Raeya Linton, the next big recruiting weekend will likely be 10/19 when UK comes to town.
I believe the assumption was that she was going to UCLA, thus a bit of a surprise. I don't know if this commitment in the 2026 recruiting cycle puts UF's class at #1 with now 3 likely top 10 commits? But all bets are off if Hang and/or Linton come on board.
Anybody but Oklahoma, but the Sooners have the #1 ranked class. They have two 5-star gymnasts ranked #1 and #3 plus five 4-star gymnasts. I don't know how they are going to make room for 7 new gymnasts, but I'm going to look at their 2027 season roster on College Gym News. Simone visited UF on 9/13, UCLA on 9/27, and Arkansas on 10/4. Apparently, she has seen enough to make her decision. Dr. Sam, PhD reposted 2026-2027: Rose to Florida - CollegeGymFans.com "Senior National Team member Simone Rose, a senior elite from Pacific Reigh, has committed to a full scholarship offer at Florida. She graduates in 2026. She also visited Arkansas and UCLA. In 2024, she qualified for the Oympic Trials after placing 12th AA and 8th(t) on UB at the XFinity US Championships. As a junior, she also placed 5th AA, 3rd on VT and 4th on BB at the 2023 XFinity US Championships. She also won the AA and FX in leading the US to a win at the Combs La Ville International Tournament." Simone Rose is the third commit in UF's 2026 class, two 5-star gymnasts ranked #8 and #10 plus Simone who is a 4-star gymnast ranked #15. From UF's 10/4 visits last weekend, #2 ranked Jayla Hang is visiting UCLA while #13 ranked Raeya Linton is not showing a visit this weekend. Hang is on her third visit, so she is still looking around. Linton has taken 5 visits and could take more if she wants to. I've had a good feeling about Linton this week. I'm a bit surprised she didn't commit. The 2026 class is shaping up nicely. I hope UF takes several more commitments.
