Personally, there has always been something really unlikable about this guy. This might explain why he's still at WSU, considering his unprecedented success. He sounds like a total psycho. Wichita State conducting internal investigation into conduct of coach Gregg Marshall
When he comes up for bigger jobs, its often said of him, "great coach, but a jerk..." or something along those lines. I'm not surprised either. If you remember, I think it was during the NCAA tournament, his wife would be going ballistic in the stands during entire games, at surrounding fans or officials. She didn't discriminate. Googling her will bring up more details than I can remember. She's been escorted out of games before. The two of them must be quite the couple.
Who was the guy at Rutgers that treated his kids this way? Bobby Knight is another "Jerk" when it comes to handling basketball players. He literary tore his teams down (at the end) in Indiana to a point that pretty much quit on him or transferred.
Mike Rice. Another gem. Good point on Knight too. He lucked out with his career aligning with a period of time that tolerated his antics.
Agreed. I watched that special on him and it was unflattering to say the least. Hey REM - I'm a "closet" Cat fan regarding football. Damn - I still can't believe Ole Miss stole that one. Hope you turn it around, except when you play us of course. PS: Davis doing some work for the Lakers! Have a great weekend REM!
At least Woody Hayes (former Ohio State football coach for the youngsters) didn't limit his abuse to his own players. He punched opposing players and camera crew members. On live TV.
No kidding! Glad to year you're favorable of the cats! Man, we shot ourselves in the foot on that one though. Easy to blame the kicker but we shouldn't have let it be as close as it was. Just pathetic defense. I'm just happy, as I'm sure another NBN/UK-fan would agree, that UK football is fun to watch now. You have a great one too!
