    I made the picks too quick, I should have remembered Phlan was from Athens. Great for him in front of friends and family to have his career moment with the Gators!

    Was working today, so will have to watch this one on DVR. Big games from Fleming and Appleby. Fleming has to be the MVG, right? Actually, nope. Appleby had a strong assist/to game (7/2). Fleming apparently had a monstrous game, esp. scoring. Castleton's all around game, though resulted in a ridiculous VPS, and was the MVG.

    Most of us had him but Phlan almost threw a monkey wrench into that, and eighty pts. Good lord, I didn’t think we would ever hit eighty the way we have been playing. You scored and even had the Gators winning! I thought we would have to fight them off at the end and never thought that Fleming would go off. In my seasoned years of age, I forgot he came from Athens basically. The SOG got everyone, who thought that we would only shoot eleven ft’s? Now on to Vandy, which I will miss after three years in a row as I will be working out of town. I will watch on TV is if where I stay has it. Go Gators, what a year!

    Mike White would get a fine if he addressed that.

    But on the other hand Georgia didn't shoot many either and even though they are terrible they do get to the line a lot.

    Let's just say that the refs "let them play".

    I have watched many late season upsets at Georgia. I feel it is hard to get up emotionally for the dogs in basketball. Yesterday there were many empty seats. Another year but, yesterday I feel we played to our strengths better and the right people got the ball when needed. Of course Georgia wasn’t great, but the team and coaches know who we are and what we have to do. A gratifying win!
    The total number of fouls showed that we probably played the best game of the season both offensively and defensively. It is always good to beat the dawgs!
