Driving down Monday and want to play a round. at a nice public course......

Bostick is closed M-T......so looking for any recommendations in both Valdosta and Ocala....or honestly anywhere south of Macon, north of Tampa just off 75.

    Thanks in advance!!!

Juliette Falls or Stone Creek in Ocala if either is open.

This is a good one in Gainesville. It's literally less than a mile off the I-75 and NW 39th Ave exit.

    Meadowbrook Golf Club

I'm a little familiar with it. I can see it from my patio. :)

Either you are joking or my friend that lives there is joking.....I asked about Meadowbrook and he said it was a goat track.

It's no Bay Hill, Isleworth or Lake Nona, but it's convenient and affordable. I don't play anymore because my handicap was my game. :). I always laugh when I go out my front door and there is a ball behind the bushes of by front porch. :D

Ocala Golf Club aka Muni is a great public course. Donald Ross design.

Meadowbrook in G'ville is owned and operated by one of our(GC) own--@cmarcum. Give him a pm. The course is much better now than two years ago. You should give it a try. Tell Chris I said high.

    GC owned....very cool.
So my friend is a once a year golfer, so his “goat track” was playing it a while back. Glad to hear it’s turning around!!

    It’s beautiful.
    It’s challenging.
It’s a straight shooters course....if you are strong with alignment, you can score.
But if you spray, good luck.
More sand than any course I’ve ever seen......including some holes that the large traps run the entire fairway.

My brother played it one time and he loved it. If I tried it, Titlist stock price would soar after I finished the 18th. I suck. :(:D

Still looks pretty rough from the road, but better than it did a year or two ago. Was a really nice course in the 90's. I used to play there a lot in middle and high school.

World Woods Pine Barrens is a solid track. Need to get back there to play Rolling Oaks.

Slip of the tongue ERR keyboard. The list is available in the ballet district off Dale Mabry in Tampa.

    So I've heard. :ninja::devil:
