Petros Kyprianou the head track coach for the University of Georgia has resigned ostensibly for another unknown position. He will be replaced by Caryl Smith Gilbert, the USC head coach that just lead the USC women team to a national championship.
I only mention it because the rumor is that several Georgia track athletes are heading for the portal.

We touched on it in another thread last week. Looks like UGA refused to put money into facilities so he walked.

Georgia really improved their track program under him, with a lot of great athletes.
I wonder if Matthew Boling will transfer as well?

Our Gator team looks to come back strong next year, so any transfers we get will be gravy.
