GDP Growth in Q4 again Surpasses Expectations

    Q4 GDP was released today. Here are the highlights.

    Data on inflation, down to 2% annualized for the quarter, which is the Fed target rate:

    This was across sectors. 2.8% increase in personal expenditures, 3.7% increase in state and local government spending, 2.5% increase in federal government spending, and 2.1% increase in private investments.

    Basically, a quarter of broad economic growth while inflation substantially declined.

    Yeah but the cost of maintaining my fleet of jetskis has increased considerably in the last 3 years. I’m not sure how I’ll manage.

    I am struggling because my house continues to go up in equity. I am very concerned no one will be able to buy my house from me without making me wealthier.

    No link. Heard TRUMP advisor Kudlow say he was wrong about the economy today and Biden should be bragging about the economy.

    Neither side can win. trumph just said the other day that this strong economy was running "on the fumes" of his economy! President has nothing to do with the economy when it's the other guys. Always depends on who is in the WH. The economy starts and stops with each swearing in. Twists and turns!

    Whether it's accurate or not, each president is connected to the current state of the economy, good or bad. The republicans have been yelling from the mountain tops about inflation since 2020, after the Biden inauguration. Now what?
