Do I think he would have bothered if it was a male molesting a young girl he had adopted? I don't know. Maybe and maybe not.

Considering that 1/2 of 1% of married couples in the US are homosexual this does not speak well for homosexual couples. Just 10 for 1, Shouldn't it be like 200 for 1?

Call it an educated guess, homosexual couples are almost certainly less likely to be formally married. Keep in mind it's been less than eight years since the Obergefell decision and most religious denominations still do not recognize same sex marriages.

You are engaging a hypothetical, so no it's not blatant. You are also expressing selective outrage. Not only a red herring, but hypocritical.

 

I just want some consistent rules around here dude. And if you think it's a hypothetical to suggest "White man does X to Black guy" is a common theme on Too Hot when it happens, then I don't know what to tell you. You just don't have a good memory.

I ask for consistent standards, I get told there are no consistent standards, then I'm told I'm a hypocrite for asking for specific standards.

Here's my ideal standard, don't highlight the race/gender/ethnicity/sexual orientation of a criminal or victim unless there is evidence that such things were the reason such a crime was committed (Ex. racially motivated killings, scorned woman kills her husband, etc.), or the criminal or victim is missing and a description is required to aid in finding them.

But nobody wants to adhere to that standard, yourself included, until a gay couple is brought up... so like all other issues regarding political power... I'm not a fan of liberals not having standards or not adhering to a standard I subscribe to because they think it's nonsensical for whatever reason, then using that standard as a shield when the shoe is on the other foot effectively causing the standard to only be enforced one way.

What you are asking for is differing rules depending on political affiliation. If you're a Democrat, it's no holds barred. No rules, no standards. Kicks to the groin, it's all fair game. Then the second a Republican plays by the same rules, you're expecting them to adhere to the rules of a boxing match. You're not entitled to that. You don't get to start enforcing standards when it's politically convenient for you.

 

Can you explain the logic here, perhaps with facts and evidence?
