Women's tennis welcomes No. 2 Georgia and No. 16 Tennessee this weekend.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 34 University of Florida women's tennis team resumes conference play this weekend as it welcomes a pair of nationally-ranked squads to the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex in No. 2 Georgia and No. 16 Tennessee. The Gators battle the Bulldogs on Friday at 5 p.m. ET and wrap up the weekend when they take on Tennessee at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Florida returns to the courts off the heels of a 2-0 weekend in which it notched victories over two top 50 teams. Despite trailing 3-2, Florida earned a 4-3 victory at No. 43 Arkansas and followed that up with a 4-1 win at No. 41 Mizzou this past Sunday. The Gators continued their strong play in doubles, recording the doubles point in both matches. Tsveta Dimitrova was victorious in both of her singles bouts including her match-clinching win from court five on Sunday at Missouri.

The Gators carry three ranked singles players in No. 12 Ida Jarlskog, No. 44 McCartney Kessler and No. 52 Victoria Emma. Jarlksog leads the club with an 8-2 mark in singles and the Georgia Tech transfer has won three of her first four SEC tilts
