(see link: Florida Gators Offers Dynamic Middle School Quarterback Full Scholarship (VIDEO) (totalprosports.com) Does it seem awfully early to give offers to 13/14 year old boys who are still only playing Pop Warner, or tournament teams? These kids have never played High School varsity football! Is this new, or have the Gators offered 8th graders in past years? I'm not a recruiting buff, so just seeking feedback. Do the top recruiters like Nick Saban and Kirby Smart offer scholarships to kids this young too? In my opinion, I think the gators could pick up a lot more sure things from the transfer portal versus versus offering middle school kids.
