Gators and Cincinnati are the final two
Cincy is a mess right now, would hope we can land him. Would be a perfect replacement for Payne.
Averaged 9 pts and 5 rebounds a night
Shot 58% from the field
I think this kid spent some time in the dog house and was suspended once.
Moore would be a really good pickup. Immediately slide in as backup Center ready to be the man the following season. Averaged 9.2 ppg, 4.8 rbs only averaging 17 mpg with a 57.5 fg% and 76.5% ft%. Also, gives White the opportunity to play big with him and Castleton.
The last thing White needs is to bring in a player who could be a problem. He needs to bat 1.000 on the transfers coming in. Couldn’t find anything official on the issues.
You have to take that into consideration and look into it, but unless it's a recurrent problem, that shouldn't be the end of it. These are college kids. We all did some stupid we'd rather not bring up.
Lol..I will give it to Mike White..he sure can recruit some transfers.
21.5/11 on a 40 minute basis. Not bad at all and seems to have some touch on his mid range game if you watch the St Johns vs Georgetown highlights from December. I wonder if they're selling him on the possibility of Castleton leaving, or if they're telling him he can come compete for the 4.
77% on free throws. That's a significant upgrade right there.
Both are true honestly
Man you guys are so "Beane" - metrics, metrics, metrics............
Bring in this kid and the transfer out of UMKC and we improve the roster pretty quickly.
If we can get 3 solid guys in the portal I’ll be more optimistic about next year.
if not, look out.
So did Payne so we got to have him
Well, we have 5 roster openings......
Much more productive than Payne.
Upgrade in a heartbeat.
Significant upgrade from Payne if he comes here. Eye test shows he is much more skilled, more quick, and a better shooter. Significantly higher motor. Take Payne's height away and you will struggle to say what his basketball skills are.
It seems Felder announces this week. If he chooses UF, I guess I'm struggling to see why Moore would come here just to be a back up 4/5 for his final year (assuming CC comes back).
You're probably correct, but Felder and Moore were high-school teammates. Not sure that means they're a package deal, but could be an incentive for both players transferring to UF.
With Payne and Osifo both transferring, I think there could be room for both, assuming Moore is willing to come off the bench should Felder also commit. Moore at close to 6'11 is more of a center while Felder at 6'7 is a PF.
I haven't watched these guys, but looking at stats, I don't know why we wouldn't take Moore over Felder, if it comes down to an either/or.
