    Top-seeded Florida plays host of conference tournament for the first time since 2011
    Florida will open play on Friday at 3 p.m., as the top-four teams received a bye into the quarterfinals. The Gators will face the winner of No. 26 and eighth-seeded Ole Miss and No. 21 and ninth-seeded Alabama. The Rebels and the Crimson Tide will meet on Thursday at 3 p.m.
    Florida finished the conference regular season 12-0, marking the first undefeated season since 2003. The Gators outscored their SEC opponents 70-14 and only dropped the doubles point in four of those 12 matches. They have also won 16 consecutive matches at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex dating back to last season.
    As a team, Florida enters the tournament at No. 3 in the ITA rankings and has been in the top-5 for five consecutive weeks. The Gators are among seven SEC teams ranked in the top-25, while 12 checked into the top-50.
