I'm not sure this game will be a good measuring stick. Bama is so stacked with NFL guys at every position, we could be a really good team and still lose by 4 touchdowns. If we actually beat them, you can be assured that we have a great team.

It's hard to believe that SOS at South Carolina in 2010 was the last time a SEC east team has beat Alabama.

All the pressure is on them. Everyone expects the Gators to get waxed. Let it all hang out and see where the chips land.

I think it has to be a good measuring stick. Bama beat Miami and Mercer by an avg of 46-13 with both scores similar. We beat FAU and USF 38-17 avg.

Miami beat Appy St 25-23. surprisingly Miami is no better than Mercer or Appy St. I like our chances. We didn’t schedule DII games like Mercer and Miami.

Love these. I’m sure we will see more designed rollouts for Emory heading into SEC play.

If we won, I'm sure Clucko the Chicken would get 15 minutes of fame!

I would have liked for us to knock Bama off its pedestal during the 4-team playoff era, but their run is coming to an end soon with the expanded playoff anyway. The current format gave certain programs too much spotlight and help in recruiting. It’s like whoever were the best teams at the time it was implemented were going to stay there. Yes, they are a superior team, but as we see in every other single elimination tournament that has more than four teams, the #1 seeds get upset frequently and rarely win.
