Gator vs. FSU student vs. Yale student. Yale ahead as of this post, but Gator in second and closing. Hey, it’s better than no competition at all.

“Ref” just took one from the Gator. How familiar that feels...

Must not be any theater or music catagories for FSU.

Pretty funny! FSU actually answered some theatre/entertainment questions. But...Going into Final Jeopardy, Gator in second , behind Yale. Not a runaway, though. FSU far behind in 3rd.

Oh well. Yale pulled away in Final Jeopardy. But Gators finish ahead of FSU. Always satisfying to beat FSU...no matter the, ummm, sport!

I could see the FSU student wagering all his final jeopardy amount of minus $1500 and then answering the question right about how many dwarf clowns can you fit in a 72 VW Vanagon..... His total minus $3000

I saw this last night. The Gator contestant did well.
Her only hiccup, as a pre-med student, was mis-pronouncing "arrithymia." I think she knew the question though.
If the judge gave her that, she would have finished w/ over $20K, which should make the semi-final. She may make it anyway. (She earned $16,500.)

The FSU contestant actually did ok, but it was funny. She ran a theater on campus (or something) but the Gator beat her on the movie category.
I think the Gator got almost each question.
The Yale guy was sharp- I could see him winning the whole thing.

I love jeopardy anyway, and Gator vs Nole was a nice surprise in the current desert of sports. Especially when the Gator beat the Nole!!

seemed strange that she didnt know how to pronounce it. The FSU contestant knew the movie questions, was just to slow to the buzzer

My take on it was that she was super nervous and self-conscious. (I'm sure I would be the same way.)
I also think she was over-thinking the DD question- if you notice she was trying to count the letters to be sure it had 10.

Agree on the FSU student knowing it, but our Gator beat her to it.

I bet we see our Gator contestant again- we all need to root hard against the 2nd and 3rd place contestants today.

Second and third place finishers did poorly tonight. $2000 and $1 respectively. Gator still alive!
