Everyone is concentrating on the grad transfer thread but have y’all read our very own Gator Country article? ’19 Gators Commit Jason Jitoboh Healthy And Ready To Dominate | GatorCountry.com
Meh, how about breaking down his right hand dominant moves or drills to improve his footwork or even better his timing to always play above the rim. I do appreciate any info we get on him but he has a big learning curve ahead.
6-10 270 (7 foot 2 inch wing span) Jitoboh likely has a better scoring touch than 6-9 230 (7 foot 5 wing span) K Hayes (who has a huge vertical jump). Jitoboh is a step behind Hayes on defense. Gak 6-11 254 (7 foot 4 wing span) is bigger than K Hayes.
Good job of keeping it light, but still getting some good info out of him. Nice to hear him talk about what he feels he needs to work on. With him, Stokes and KJ, I don't see people being to move many of our rebounders
Would Love an interview with Pickens on what all he does with each “big”.... @Efawcett7 ? @BailieghWilliams ?
Put me down as one of those who likes him coming in but if Mike thinks he has "solved the void inside" by signing him that would not be a very good sign. If he plays well enough to get some minutes next year then fine. I would expect him to look like a Noah in his first year. But if he still needs some remedial work and he does not mind getting a year off then we all know his sophomore jump will have to wait a while. And the roster makeup will reflect that.
Another excellent interview, @Efawcett7 . You are indeed an ambassador to the program. An asset for the gator nation and gator basketball! Great welcome! Some great tidbits!
Jitoboh is visiting UF this weekend, per his Twitter. Give him a thumbs-up if you see him around campus.
