Gator Baseball Clobbers the Noles!
Most points Gator Baseball has scored on fsu since 1980!
Not to nit pick but most runs. Points are for football and basketball
And we were down 6-0 middle of the fifth.
Good grief. I had the pleasure of ending an 18-hour day by watching us serve up a humiliating loss to #6 in the nation - and I decided to share that news at just before midnight....with my Gator pals here....and you hone in on word choice!
Well, nit pick away...since that seems to be of more importance to you than the outcome of the game! SMH.
Okay....how’s THIS for meeting you halfway, sir? 20-7 is closer to a football score (with points) than it is to the normal baseball score (with runs).
Will that make you happier?
We scored 8 RUNS in the 6th and 7 RUNS in the 8th. Pretty remarkable performance!... including home runs (even a grand slam!)

20-7: Someone missed THE extra POINT.
This was one of the most enjoyable beat downs of an FSU team that I have seen in quite a while. With 2 Noles in the booth, it was an almost unbearable display of butt kissing over Mike Martin’s long career. Without question, the man has done an incredible job over so many years, but the Noles just haven’t been as good since Sully showed up in Gainesville.
I get tired of not even knowing who is at bat for the Gators while Perez and Neal are kissing butt and swooning over the talent of players who end up making incredibly stupid mistakes and losing the game for FSU. And when asked who has more talent, Peterson wakes up from his sleep to say FSU. Obviously he missed most of the game.
I wish I knew why these guys have decided to go off on tangents and not even call who is at the plate. I am trying to learn all of the new freshmen, of which there are many on this edition. This trend is spreading and I really dislike it. Take these clowns and Beth Mowins and let them call ACC games. Gators 20.....Noles 7
Always good when any Gator team beats the hell out of f$u
I literally turn the sound off when Perez is announcing. Works well, and, there is no loss of pertinent information. Needs to go have a play date with Danny Kannell.
I love the words clobber and FSU together. Good times.
Except most of the time those 2 words are together it is related to their football players and women.
Copy that!!!!! Well stated, sir!
I muted it for about 4-5 innings as like you I couldn’t stand the fact they weren’t even talking about the game.
That said, Eduardo Perez likes the SWAC’s FR talent more but Kyle Petersen likes UF’s more. He just tried to be diplomatic and call it a tie (Eduardo spoke first). I would bet good money Kyle Petersen would say UF if he was having an informal call. The SWAC’s SS seems legit. But almost every arm they threw was a Soph. UF pitched 4 FR plus played 4 FR in the field.
And Calilao, despite not playing a premium position, is better with the stick than De Nadas is today. So is Fabian.
Sincere thanks to whomever moved my thread to the proper location!
This was my first attempt at starting a thread. I sorta instinctvely knew that it belonged with baseball stuff....but I was still excited to share news of that beat down with my Gator brethren on the football board - was afraid some might not get to celebrate!! I clearly screwed up, but someone was kind enough to fix it. Thanks! Go Gators!!!

I will add: I agree , this is actually the perfect sort of thread for Swamp Gas, to alert the football-centric fans of the gator baseball win. We, here on the diamond gators, already knew, lol!
Gotta stick a little non-football to those folks every now and again before they get too worked up on which position needs more depth in the 2021 recruiting class.
20-7 is a Muschamp score. 41-14 is a Mullen score
Apparently 20-7 is also a Sully score!
