Well I appreciate that as I’m out of town and won’t be able to attend either UF game! Watching online.

The way you want it to be. Good clean game in all phases. Impressive win.

Great game all around... except for Donay. 3Ks against a not great UNF team is crazy. Not a great game for Shelton either. But, hopefully they can get going offensively.

Random question for the folks who are regulars to home games... can someone explain what the 'Diamond Deck' is? Other than just club seating... since I can't seem to find any specific information about it anywhere.

I don't like to judge after ony two games but Donay may not be the addition we had hoped. In the scrimmages I attended, he was regularly fooled on breaking pitches and he had only one hit in about 11-12 ABs. On the Cape last summer he struck out 1:3 and hit in the .220s. Shelton will be fine- he's proven he can hit SEC pitching. Would like to see Brookins get a chance and see what Garrison can contribute. Peterson looked the part of the Ace from the first time I saw him pitch in scrimmages. Has the potential to be one of the greats.

It’s just the second level of the stadium. Seats up there include hotdogs, drinks (not alcoholic), cookies, and popcorn.

Glad you mentioned this... breaking pitches were definitely Donay's big issue last night. But, yeah it's *only* been two games... but he has not done anything to really impress me.

And it really wasn’t good breaking balls last night either. Just spinning it was tying him up. His hands out directly in front of his face at his set position didn’t look very comfortable/productive to me anyway either.
Way too much trigger timing for me from that set position.

Told that's how he looks in BP too....think Jeroloman has a big task on his hands. But they will try because of the huge power upside

Tanner has some pop, and did a much better job putting the ball in play, imo. Hopefully he’ll get some opportunities.

Agree but at the same time it would be nice to see DH get a hit for once. I know, I know, its early.

I swear everytime I see #18 he has put on a little more weight. That's good to see, hoping he still has a chance to make it back.

He'll continue to get opportunities, if he uses them to get hits we'll see a lot more of him. Of course the same is true of 6-8 other guys on the squad. So far, nine guys have at least one hit, which means those nine definitely will get at bats this weekend. Others will get opportunities, too, that then will determine opportunities for the next week.

You should have crossed your toes as well. No Gator in the DH spot this season has yet to get a hit. Strange but true after 3 games.
