    That's too bad if he doesn't. I've been around this kid when he was an Orlando Scorpion and committed to UVA at the time. He was a star in the making.

    Nice article with a huge nugget for next year. Sully has hinted at this about Neely before but here he makes his intentions obvious.

    Commenting on Neely....
    “When I first approached him about closing, he really wanted no part of it,” O’Sullivan said. “But I promised him one thing. I said, ‘You came in as a starter and you’re going to leave this program as a starter.’ So I’m going to move him back to the starting rotation next year.”

    Thus our starting pitchers will be Caglianone, Neely, and hit me with your best shot. It could be Kelly Austin or Cade Fisher or Coppola if you still have your hopes up. Again Several other players will have a shot as well. Sully will have plenty of arms to look at and evaluate this fall. So let's wait and see who comes away with the third spot.
