That TO might have been the play of the game.

 

He didn't just miss a FG. It was so far off it's a head scratcher.

 

I knew he would miss as soon as he took his helmet off after timeout,I just got the vibe he was way to nervous.

 

I knew he would miss as soon as Ryan Day ran the ball on 1st down from the 30 something.

 

Day definitely screwed up the play calls on 1st and 2nd down, but Stroud should have taken off running from the scramble on the 3rd down play. He could have picked up 5 to 10 more yards and made the FG more manageable. It's crazy to put THAT much unnecessary pressure on the kicker at 50 yards.

 

4th qtr drives:
UGA: FG-TD-TD
pOSU: Punt-FG-missed FG

1/10 on the UGA 31 and then Ryan Day blew it.

 

Yea, that was bad. Terrible contact. My sons a kicker and I hate to see a kicker(sans Podlezny) miss one, particularly one at such a critical moment in the game. Guys have such a high pressure position. I HATE GEORGIA SO MUCH. I cannot believe we had a house full of (vomit in mouth) tOSU fans.

 

Great game. Dawgs showed their resiliency in coming back and keeping their cool, Buckeyes played well and let it slip out of their hands. UGA vs TCU will be a good one.

You could blindfold that LSU kicker, spin him around in a circle 100 times, and he'd nail it straight through the uprights every time.

Such an obvious play call and so weak. That call cost them the game.

 

2nd and last time I pull for Ohio State (1st time was in 96 vs Arizona St)

 

Should tried to get closer-wasted time and downs being conservative-at least get closer for an easier FG if that was all they were going for...me-I would have gone for the TD with 1st and 10 at uga 30 wasn't it? Frustrating and disgusting!

 

Ohio State's OL should have gotten the MVP, but Stroud definitely gets an honorable mention.

3 missed FG's (for both teams) made all the difference in this game.

 

Any thought on Kirby not being a gameday coach is over

it sucks but it is what it is. He earned his paycheck
