Just had a flash from the old days. We used to go Scuba diving quite a bit, (I'm a certified PADI Divemaster) wrecks in Miami, Keys, Bahamas, Jamaica etc.

When you were on a dive boat the only music they seemed to ever play was Jimmy Buffet and Reggae. Which was nice...'cool runnins.' We played a ton of that music at the Pipeline.

Year before last I went to Mexico (Cancun) and dived the Cenotes (fresh water caves) scared the pee-juice out of me. Really pretty but I'm not a fan of cave diving. They'd bring you down until the light went away and you'd go deep enough to hit salt water. Going from the fresh to salt there was a 10 or 15 foot haze of both waters before it got clear again...

    Oh I totally forgot...Savoy Brown

Kim Simmonds was fabulous guitar player. Although, they were kind of dark and scary a little...

In the early seventies I lived up in Atlanta for awhile with some friends from my home town. We, along with a couple of others, rented a house on Piedmont just a little north of Piedmont Park. The house was wide open with a band in the basement and stoned out people walking around in the attic. Anything you brought in to eat best be eaten then because if you put it in the fridge it would not be there an hour later.

Someone bought the following album and we basically wore out the Layla track.

That Skynyrd Album was the real deal. My favorite was : "I ain't the one..." Alan Collins wailing on that Gibson Firebird

    Mule: here ya go...
