FTC sends cease and desist re: packaging for THC that looks like children's products

    A rare case of "protecting the children" that I think is sincere and appropriate. Again, big fan of Lina Khan

    That should be an easy one to call just based on the obvious trademark theft/infringements.

    I mean this is clear IP theft even without the THC implications. Kind of ridiculous they thought they’d get away with that for long in this country where trademarks are viscously defended. They could probably get away with these products like nacho tortilla chips packaging them in a zillion different ways… but actually using the Doritos logo???

    Agreed. And you risk dilution if you don't enforce. But an FTC Cease and Desist is always quicker and more powerful
