Agreed, that and the boosters will make it happen. Work out some payment plan. HE GONE.

I bet they find some arbitrary excuse for due cause so they can cut his buyout in half. Kinda like McElteeth

Not to mention, Willie's buyout is a dime holding up a dollar. Every year he sinks the program they lose 10's of millions in potential revenue. They will find a way to get him out and keep the cash cow grazing.

That would be a good hire for them and us. Since we have to play a Stoops team every year, make it an out of conference game. Plus, I think he maxes them out at 9-10 wins

Not the splash hire but a solid hire IMO.

Sounds like you want to make him the escape goat.

I sure wish I was one of these football coaches with big buyouts on the hot seat. I would tell them to give me half of it and I will leave right now. To heck with the hassle and work, go live like a king. Tour the world instead of touring high schools and the homes of recruits, while fans talk about how sorry you are in social media. If you still want involvement in college football before cheaters, refs and the NCAA ruin it completely, get a gig as a rich talking head when you're not playing golf. I don't really know why rich people work. I'd have to be rich to find out.

For what he's getting paid, though...I would have loved to try.

WT still scares me a bit as does USF. If willie lasts he might get the assistance to turn it around and a black HC with a decent personality could be a HUGE draw for top athletes. Hope he’s gone in 2 years and Stoops is somewhere else in a new job.

If USF gets it going a bit and locks down the Tampa area kids (IMG), they could be a big threat to us. I cannot fathom the support for Charles.

I can kinda see WT possibly turning a corner with the right hires. But USF? The same USF that set a record for being the 1st EVER team to start 7-0, then proceed to lose 6 straight. Sorry, but being scared of USF is flat laughable.

The only thing scary about WT is that he might get fired too soon. You need to keep him.

Taggart gets 3 years. $17 million after the end of 2019 is too expensive for FSU.

Heck, we were paying Mac, Muschamp and Mullen last year, so programs can get rid of Head Coaches, if moving in the wrong direction. Once FSU hires an AD, that individual will make an evaluation and could want to bring in his own guy

"For academic year 2018-2019, tuition ranges from $53,650 to $77,650 per year depending on age, boarding and grade of student-athlete."

    Football

Spending $50-70k a year in order to get into USF is the worst investment I can even imagine.

USF and IMG have absolutely nothing to do with each other except some proximity and the fact that they both are referred to with 3-letter acronyms.

I turned on the news yesterday and thought that Willie had suddenly found a QB. Jeff Sims out of Jax. Then I saw that he is a 2020 commit. But I guess he is Willie's plan. For 2020. He still needs to "do something" about 2019.

Never know until a season or two in. I thought Willie would be a great hire if his assistants came but they did not.

Mullen turns out to have perfect form whereas Willie's splash is more a belly flop.
