Probably as well coached as the better ACC teams, but 6 or 7 of their upcoming ACC opponents will put more speed and athleticism on the field than BSU. Any team that plays smart ball is going to be an issue for FSU. Smart ball with good athletes has a good opportunity to embarrass them on any Saturday.

For pure comedy, I think you have to go with Miami's last play. A five-year-old would laugh their ass off at that.

Is that poster real? If so, the mental gaffes continue at FSU.

If they made a move before the season is over then Mark Stoops might be an option. He might do it as long as the talent does not run off. Not sure if FSU can financially swing it, but coaching-wise.

Stoops would be a great upgrade, but he's not going to with a 50-75% discount to clean up Willies mess. He can wait out a much better gig if he wants to leave UK.

Willie buyout + Kiffin might be about the same aggregate cost FSU would have had to pay anyway, had Willie been successful and gotten a raise after year 2.

couple that with the vols getting curb-stomped by Georgia state...

I did read that many were not shocked to see BSU beat FSU. They say BSU might have the best defense FSU will face all year. I haven't really read up on BSU but I always equated them with great offenses and that Smurf turf, but never defense.

This isn't about my level of comfort, but what I believe the industry and market will bear. The minimum tenure line has certainly been dropping. But again, has there been someone fired midway through a second season without cause? That wouldn't be a fringe of the employment norm, that would be an enormous new precedent. And I still believe any new compensation package for the new coach would have to reflect that.

Doubtful. They were clinging to six wins to save their lauded "bowl streak." With that now gone, there's NO WAY that mouth breathing fan base will accept 6 wins.

Willie Taggart : 5 wins (vs. 8 losses) – Samford, N. Illinois, Louisville, Boston College, Wake Forest.
BC & Louisville made huge coaching blunders when they had game won.

BSU's D was slow, looked like they were playing in mud. But once they figured out the joke of an O they run their D was able to play better. Any DC worth a nickel will stone their O as long as you can defend the run and the 100 deep balls they throw.

Spoken like a true nole! And I'm serious, I've heard the general gist from a couple of my reasonable noles fans.

But this was certainly more eloquent and eviscerating... Thanks Gray! (PS I WILL NOT be sending this along ☺️)

Some people are better at interviewing than they are once they get on the job.
