Man that sucks. Two players gone due to heart condition. Feel bad for the kid. Good luck Randy.

On the other side of it we are pretty good at safety with Burney and Dean, opens up a ship to bring in at another position.

Wow, that sucks. I would assume since he has actually signed, they can get him put on a hardship and at least let him get a free ride to school. Hopefully he takes advantage if that is available to him.

He will get the ship if he wants it. Thats why you should pick a school and not a nice lockeroom to try get you to the league. Most arent ever going to get paid to play. Maybe he gets the education. Heres hoping

Unreal....he stuck with Florida through all the changes and did not waiver. His statement was so powerful!!!

I'm extremely disappointed for him and his family. Hope everyone remembers him when he's looking for work.

Sucks for the kid, hope he makes the best of the opportunities he has.

A change to the thread title might be a good idea as "ruled ineligible" has somewhat negative connotations. :)

Absolutely spot on! Get an education and then find/follow a career path young man. Hopefully he will do that, and get the bleep out of Miami!

Seems like this is happening more often. Why aren't these kids getting physicals before playing HS ball??

Just saw this in an email, thank God they caught it. Sounds mature beyond his years so his future is still bright.

I imagine funding for this type of testing is WAY out of budget for schools.

Double Bummer, 2 in 2 months. Wish him the best. UF will help get a top notch education. Life will go on after some serious grief. Has great mental outlook.
Not to be crass at this point, yet here goes.
What about S CJ Smith Oxbridge West Palm ?
Other options on team or recruiting wise ?

I think hes all Nebraska as of late. I haven't really paid him much mind since his "decommit" he has great size but I'm not sure he's an option.

Sucks for the kid, all these years playing and nothing happens now moving on up and told you can't play.

I wonder how much of this is the university covering its bases?

HCM can be dangerous but also not affect you at all.

Bummer. We are taking some real hits between Russell, Robinson and the credit card gang. I hope Mullen can shore things up. We were already way low on our numbers.
